Boarding

We provide services to small breeds that are 30 pounds or less, with a height limit of 18 inches or less from the top of their shoulders to the floor to be accepted for services. 

We are a kennel free environment facility.  All pets serviced must undergo a temperament screening. If your pet passes the assessment, they will have fun with our daycare pets on a daily basis.  If your pet would rather be alone, they are kept in the office and back rooms to roam freely about. When the daycare pets have gone for the day, the shy boarders will be taken outside to play and stretch.  All pets are safely secured in the back yard of our facility. While you're away, your pet is now our furry friend to love and cuddle. 

 
Our establishment is uniquely created to resemble a home environment. We strive to make your pet comfortable as possible. This is not a residence, however, a staff member will always be onsite and care for all pets boarding at this facility.

First time boarders are required an assessment at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled vacation. Assessments are by appointment only.  Your pet needs to pass the assessment to schedule the boarding period.

Boarding minimum is 2 or more day. Please plan your boarding dates accordingly.  We do not accept or discharge pets on Sundays, Holidays and Eve's of Christmas and New Years.

Effective  April 01, 2024, we are no longer accepting dogs who are not spayed or neutered for daycare and boarding services.  

 
Current vaccinations are MANDATORY for all services.  We need your Veterinary Hospital to email us your pet's vaccination records for: Bordetella, DHPP, Leptospirosis, Fecal and Heartworm results to barksandpurrs2018@gmail.com . All needs to be current and unexpired.  We do not accept copies from the client as proof of record.  Pet needs to be on a flea and tick treatment as well.

Note:  Please inform the hospital receptionist to only email us the one or two page report and "NOT" the entire history of your pet.  

All pets are examined at all arrivals and if deemed to have fleas or ticks, you will be notified.  We are able to provide a flea bath and owner will be charged accordingly to severity of infestation.
