We provide services to small breeds that are 30 pounds or less, with a height limit of 18 inches or less from the top of their shoulders to the floor to be accepted for services. 

Daycare consists of daily playtime in our doggie playland, designed to be safe, fun and comfortable for our furry friends. Daycare is a great way to socialize your pet and give them the exercise they need. We have many toys and a ramp area for them to enjoy. We also have a swing, cots and bedding areas for nap time and relaxing.  

We have both indoor and outdoor play areas so that your dog can enjoy the fresh air, shade and sunshine while playing with their furry friends. Our play areas are secure and safe for your dog to have fun.

At Barks and Purrs Pet Daycare and More, we provide personalized attention to each dog in our care. We understand that every dog is unique and has different needs, which is why we tailor our services to meet those needs.

Please Note:   Barks and Purrs is a daycare facility for pets to attend often.  Once your pet has made friends and knows the surrounding areas, they feel a sense of safety and enjoy attending. If we do not see your pet for over 90 days, your pet will need to complete another charged 4 hour assessment. This may be repeated depended on how they are readjusting.  A dog who stays away for a long period of time makes it challenging for the staff members and other pets to be with a frighened pet.   

Effective  April 01, 2024, we are no longer accepting dogs who are not spayed or neutered for daycare and boarding services.  

Vaccinations record is MANDATORY for all services.  We need your Veterinary Hospital to email us your pet's vaccination records for: Bordetella, DHPP, Leptospirosis, Fecal and Heartworm results to barksandpurrs2018@gmail.com .  All needs to be current and unexpired.  We do not accept copies from the client as proof of record.  Pet needs to be on a flea and tick treatment as well.

Note:  Please inform the hospital receptionist to only  email us the one or two page report and "NOT" the entire history of your pet.  

All pets are examined at all arrivals and if deemed to have fleas or ticks, you will be notified.  We are able to provide a flea bath and owner will be charged accordingly to severity of infestation.
