Nursing Care

Non-Invasive Therapy

Post Surgical Healing

At this present time, we do no accept pre or post surgical pets.  If your pet has had a recent orthopedic surgery, we highly suggest kennel boarding.  We are kennel free and my dogs have access to the entire facility and may cause further injury.  If you board with us and fail to inform us or inform us after dropping off the pet, we will not be liable if your pet injures themselves further.

Geriatric Dogs

We are able to care for an older pet if they are able to walk and relieve themself on their own with additional assistance.  Incontinence fee for pads and diapers is $3.00 per day additional to boarding fee.  Note:  Geriatric dogs who do no board often may have some issues such as diarrhea or not eating meals.  We will do our best to work with your pet and not call you right away, unless we feel it is an urgent matter.

Comfort Care

Daily nursing care, medication administration and monitoring for:

  • Post surgery care (2 Months Post surgery)
  • Wound management
  • Thunderstorm or firework anxiety
  • Arthritis
  • Subcutaneous fluid therapy

Unexpected Seizures:  Once a pet has had a seizure while owner(s) are on vacation, they will be placed under nursing care ($15.00 additional to boarding fee).  Owner(s) will be promptly notified and will work with their hospital to provide medication as needed.  If we feel your pet requires veterinary care and admission to a hospital, we will procede immediately.  If we are unable to contact you after 3 attempts, we will act accordingly and admit your pet. Owner will be responsible to pay all incidentals.

We are unable to care for pets with:

  • Urinary or fecal incontinence
  • Hospice care
  • Canine cognitive disorder (senility)
  • Blind Pets
  • Pets with Separation Anxiety (regardless if on medication)
  • Therapy, Service and Emotional dogs
  • Epilepsy (we are kennel free)

Deaf, hard of hearing.  If your pet begins loss of hearing after a year of our services, they will be exempt. They have already established themselves and know how to move about with the pack however, we will provide an assessment and see if your pet qualifies for daycare or boarding.

We will require your veterinarians discharge instructions related to your pets condition.

  • All medications will require legible instructions on doses.
  • Pets with severe arthritis will be required to have some type of supplement or medication(s) to assist with the pain.  No CBD Products will be acepted.
  • Wound management:  Required bandage removal and replacement. Please provide only sterile bandages.  We can provide sterile supplies at an additional cost.
  • Thunderstorm/firework anxiety:  we request you ask your veterinarian for Acepromazine only.  We do not accept Trazodone as a sedative.  Please ask your veterinarian to provide Acepromazine.
  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT CBD AS AN ANXIETY TREATMENT.  We will not administer this product if it is put into pets care package.
  • For the safety of your pet and the pets who board with us, we do not accept pets with separation anxiety.  Prescribed medications such as Clomipramine and Fluoxetine have made dogs lose interest in food and water, caused depression and lack of energy.  We are kennel free and all boarding dogs are placed in the yard for doggie daycare.
  • Fluid therapy:  Please provide the fluids, needles and fluid line.  We can provide fluid supplies at an additional cost.
