Packages expire 120 days from the purchase date. Expired days will be purged automatically from our system within 7 days of expiration.
End of Month (EOM) billing is charged at the regular daily rate. A credit/debit card on file is required for EOM billing and will be charged on the 1st day of the following month. Packages cannot be applied retroactively to EOM billing. We highly recommend purchasing a prepaid package.
Drop-off or pick-up outside our business hours are charged $5 per 15 minutes, not to exceed 1 hour. Allowance is at our discretion.
No daycare services on major holidays. See boarding schedule for closure dates.

Note: Dogs who have been away from Barks and Purrs for over 10 months from boarding will need to complete another charged overnight assessment. This may be repeated depended on how they are readjusting. A dog who stays away for a long period of time makes it challenging for the staff members and other pets to be with a frighened pet.
Dog, 19 lbs and under: $52 daily
Dog, 20-30 lbs: $60 daily
Complimentary bath for dog staying 14 days or more.
Cat, single: $40 daily
Cats, bonded pair: $65 daily
Cats, three: $75 daily
Cats, four (maximum): $85 daily
Assessments for cats are not required.
An additional Holiday Fee ($30 per family of pets) is applied to the following holiday closure dates during the period of boarding:
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Veteran’s Day (Richard is a US Navy veteran with 26 years of service!)
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
Boarding pets are not accepted or released on the above holiday closure dates. We will operate on Saturday hours on New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve.
NO dog bedding, blankets, toys, or bowls please. We have those covered. Dogs tend to become possessive over their own belongings. This can cause dog aggression or other dogs will try to play with it, damage it, or urinate on it. We have an abundance of various beddings and toys for them to enjoy.
Please put each meal, morning and evening feedings, pre-measured meal in an appropriate size disposable zip bag. All meal bags should go into a large disposable zip bag and clearly print your pet’s name on it. Canned/tray dog foods, again with their name clearly printed on each item. Also include written instructions on foods that are mixed with dry and canned/tray foods. *Think of it as a child going to camp.
Homemade diets that require us to cook and prep your pet’s meals are charged a $25 fee for each weekly cooking/prepping service. Parents need to provide the ingredients (protein, starch, and vegetables).
Any medication given must be labeled with pet’s name and dosage instructions. There is a daily medication administration fee of $2.50.
NO treats 48 hours prior to boarding and NO change of diet within 2 weeks of boarding your pet. Feeding treats/table food and an amended diet combined with a change of atmosphere will give the dog diarrhea or cause to vomit.
For pets that are not solely pad or grass trained, or we find that your pet has tendencies to urinate on other dogs’ pee spots to claim domination will be assessed a $2.50 daily diaper fee. Pets that are assessed to wear diapers will only be wearing them while in the building. All pets are diaper free in the play yard. You may bring your own dog diapers if you know they will need them. Please print your pet’s name on each diaper.
• Daily boarding fees cover up to a 24-hour period from the time of drop-off. For example, if you drop off your pet at 10:00 AM, the pick-up time is no later than 10:00 AM on the pick-up day.
• If pick-up occurs after the scheduled time, the appropriate daycare fee, half-day or full-day, will apply. We will use a prepaid package day pass for this if it is available on your account. The final invoice may be adjusted at the time of pick-up.
• Drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled during our business hours only. Pets are not accepted for drop-offs and pick-ups on Sundays. No exceptions will be granted, so please plan your boarding days and times accordingly.
Due to high demand for boarding, cancellations under 72 hours may have future priority revoked; future boarding will be put on a waitlist.
All dogs are required to have their nails trimmed to a reasonable length before daycare or boarding at our facility. This is to prevent injury to themselves, other dogs, and to our furnishings and property. Please schedule nail trimming with your groomer or with us prior to coming for daycare or boarding.
